Thank you for your interest in Incentive Networks. We’re pleased to offer merchants an unparalleled way to incent and reward their customers for purchases or other activities on their web site. Incentive Networks provides private-label, merchant-funded loyalty programs for affinity and membership organizations to enable their customers to shop easily and securely at more than 3,500 retailers. Clients such as Intuit, British Airways, BMI, eScrip and others leverage Incentive Networks' unique experience in the marketplace to launch highly integrated loyalty solutions in the U.S. and Europe.
Merchant Requirements
Merchants accepted into the Incentive Networks Platform must meet the following minimum requirements: Merchant must provide timely “click tracking” all transaction activity at the merchant site back to Incentive Networks. That is, a merchant must provide detail about each transaction made by an Incentive Networks site member to Incentive Networks, within five business days of the transaction. Incentive Networks will provide to a merchant an identifying ClickID for each click to the merchant site. This ClickID will be passed as an appended URL parameter and must be associated with any transactions generated from that click to the merchant site. Merchants must report back to Incentive Networks utilizing this ClickID in all transaction and payment reports.
This type of tracking is available at most major affiliate networks. Incentive Networks works with the following US affiliate networks ONLY:
Commission Junction – http://www.cj.com
Google Affiliate Network – http://www.performics.com
Linkshare – http://www.linkshare.com
Incentive Networks reserves the right to review independently maintained affiliate programs but exceptions rarely occur.
All accounts are net 30. That is, payment for commissions earned in March must be received by April 30.
Site Integrity : The merchant’s site and the products offered on the site must be in good taste and consistent with the Incentive Networks’ image and philosophy. Sites that contain products that are not socially acceptable will not qualify. In addition, participating merchants must offer a series of products and/or services in order to be considered. Individual manufacturers will often not qualify with single product SKUs.
Customer Service : Provide a dedicated customer service section on the Web site that contains the following information:
Contact Information : The merchant must provide an e-mail address, a mailing address, and telephone number for customer service.
Shipping Information : Shipping information should detail any fees, additional taxes, and geographic coverage.
Return Policy : The return policy along with a return address must be clearly stated on the web site.
Credit Card Security Guarantees : The merchant must cover all charges incurred by a customer in the event of a fraudulent transaction.
Privacy Policy : The site must contain a private policy section that clearly discloses what types of information aregathered from the users. Merchants must refrain from selling customer information to third parties.
Trap Doors/Frame Busters
All merchants must refrain from implementing technology that disables partner site frame as well as the “back” and “home” browser buttons. Use of frame busters causes confusion for the consumer as to whether or not their purchases are being tracked.
Clearing Prices
All product prices, including shipping and taxes, must be clearly indicated. The web site must honor the prices and offers listed at the time of purchase without hassle. The merchant must honor their offers until date/time they are removed from the site.
Secure Transaction Policy
Merchants must ensure that all transactions take place on a secure site using a secure commerce server and encryption technology. The web site must use a secured server program such as SSL. The site must clearly indicate the use of such a service (preferably by displaying company symbol/logo).
Order Confirmation/Processing
Process orders within one business day and deliver an order confirmation/update to consumer. Notify consumer of the stock status as well as the approximate delivery time of the goods or services. Deliver the goods within the time period specified by the merchant. Notified within 24 hours of any discrepancies and give opportunity to cancel the transaction.
